Strange things are happening to me lately?

I've had lots of weird things happen to me over the past few years, including a six month spell of almost nightly sleep paralysis where I had strange roars coming out of me that terrified me so much, but I had to just open my mouth and let them flow, anyway that stopped about five years ago thankfully!! but in the past few months I've had two bizzare things happen.. First one was I was leaving change from a sandwich i'd bought on my bosses desk, I didn't even really look, I just threw the coins gently on his desk and every single one of them - there were seven - landed upright, like on their sides.. I've never seen anything like it, they didn't even wobble, just stood upright. Then today I decided to create an email account so I could try to begin to trace my birth father, whose surname is O'Sullivan. I didn't want to use my real facebook account (in case my family would get upset seeing I was joining O'Sullivan forums on Facebook trying to trace him etc....)so I created an alias and then used that name to set up a new facebook account.. I entered my name, date of birth and then Facebook put that security thing up where they ask you to type the letters you see in the box, always random letters, and what came up was "IS SULLIVAN" - same name as the man I am trying to trace! Can anyone let me know if I am overreacting? I am quite freaked out and don't know whether I should continue my search or not. I've had two dreams lately about him (never met him) but in dream he is dying and in the other he died two years ago...

GERD!! Please help? How do I cope with this?

Well I have GERD for a year now and am taking medications and enforcing restrictions as advised. But is it true that even if I observe all the instructions properly, this must get worse over the years and lead me on to that fundoplication operation?? My 2 month old refuses to sleep on his back. Any advice?

I tried tricking him into sleeping on his back by letting him sleeping in my arms for 20-30 mins before laying him down. He'll sleep for a max of 2 hours before realizing he's on his back and wake up screaming. I've tried everything- swing/carseat/boppy, placing him on his side with a towel or blanket infront and behind him, I even bought a foam to make him feel snug, and giving him a little cereal. He rolled over at 2 days old and again at a week old and hasn't stopped since. I think placing the blankets and foam makes him feel restricted. I can place him on his back oneway only to find him facing the oppisite way when I check on him. I even found him in the corner of the bed on his stomach with one arm hanging off. When he's on his stomach I roll him back over onto his back only to him awaking up screaming, refusing to go back to sleep no matter how tired he is. I've read all the articles on SIDs and done the research. Is there anything I haven't tried that may work? Help

From what my friends did for GCSE PE, they had to do 3 (may have been 4) different sports and video themselves doing it to prove they do that sport. You do not get any instruction in the sports you pick, it is part of the coursework. So for riding on of my friends took a video of a riding lesson she had (just a normal lesson at the riding school she normally goes to). It was only riding not stable management, she filmed herself doing a short dressage routine & a course of jumps. As it is a peace of coursework the school do nothing to help you with it, so you have get someone to film you whilst riding (your own or a riding centre horse), the school don't provide you with a horse or any training all that has to be sourced yourself. & you can do flat, jumping, or a mixture - what ever you want really.

Tony Bennett, Indiana school superintendent, is attempting to p a law stating that all students must go to school exactly 180 days. He is also taking away all half days (they will not count as instructional days). To make up days missed, students will either have to go to school on Saturday or days will be added onto the end of the year which cuts into summer break. Do you agree or disagree and why?

Our Ford Escort is making creaking noises and the brake and tail lights aren't working. What could be wrong?

About a month ago, the car started making sporadic creaking noises when you press on the brake and it is going pretty slow. We had the brakes checked out and the mechanic said that they were okay, and that the noise was just "road noise". Then about a week ago, one of the brake lights went out. When we went to replace the brake light we found that one of the tail lights had gone out and both of the brake lights were out. When we put a replacement bulb in both of the brake/tail light sockets, the lights stay on indefinitely, even with the car off. They do not get any brighter or dimmer when you step on the brakes. The turn signals are still working. I checked the sockets, and they do not seem to be corroded. If the fuse was not working, wouldn't the lights not work? We are very confused. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

What do I do about my stepson?

He may not be upset that his parents aren't together because of how young he was when they split... but that doesn't mean he's not upset that his dad is remarried. It takes kids time to get used to such a big change. He is used to having all of his dad's attention and now it is split between him, two step-siblings, and a step-mom. The bottom line is he will continue to act out as long as he can get away with it. His father and mother need to work out proper punishment for him for his behavior and stick to it.

My boyfriend is an ex drug addict. He's been clean for about 3 years now. Since we had our daughter. He missed the birth and everything because he ended up in jail. How do I handle a (new) male Chow Chow?

Viper's just new, about a day old with the family, (I think he's about 5 months old already) and he's so aloof, so reserved, and so wary of us. He doesn't bark (which actually scares me). He just gives the look--like who-are-you-don't-go-near-me-or-touch-me look-- and is such a snob. I actually go up to him to give him food and water, then extend my hand and wait for him to sniff it, but he doesn't come to me. they were suppost to fix my motor from my car because water from the coolant had gone inside the oil and motor making the oil look like chocolate. I got my car back with a loud tapping noise and i dont know if its a valve or a lifter tapping. it wasnt there before. I took it back to them and they said they had no idea what it was and would try to fix it.. a wk later i went to pick up my car and the problem was still there.. they said they cant figure out what the noise is or where its coming from.. it has a one yr warranty, but im tired of leaving the car there with them after they told me they cant figure out the problem and waiting another 7-10days. this was back in oct. they told me that all I needed to do was drive my car on a long trip and the noise will fade and eventually go away becasue of the oil.. 1000 miles later and 4 months later its still there.. should i take it to them and ask for my money back or what should i do..I payed $1,280. for the 2 head gaskets

OK, i moved into a decent trailor 2 months ago, well since ive moved in ive had nothing but issues and problems with my landlord and now im finding out all kinds of things like my electricty is hooked up to the street lights (im paying for that and didnt know it) and the septic tank in between my and my neighbors homes are hooked to my electricty as well. i started my 5 month old a few days ago actually. i started him on sweet potatoes and tonight will be squash. i usually give him about 2 tablespoon fulls. he does great on it. right now its mainly practice anyway. he still gets him formula as his main thing through out the day. i feed him solids once a day for now. in a couple weeks i will give dinner and breakfast and then a few more weeks later stick a lunch in there. this is just what we are doing. i suggest squash, sweet potatoes, peas, green beans. any of those are good to start.

entered a business deal with my mother who didnt tell me she was a recent bankrupt. The deal was for a property development with her husbands ociatte. She wanted to be the silent partner so my brothers did not get 'jealous'. After i agreed and signed and borrowed money she said she wanted me to have 'all the profit' and walked away. I lost lots of money to her husbands ociattee who I found out had thretened her husband with a bankruptcy order. I was convinced that her husband was 'clever' because no one ever got uinto financail trouble when dealing with him. She in fact went bankrupt when dealing with him 6 mths previously. When I susupected the bankruptcy I asked her about it and she went ballistic, saying I was a trouble maker etc then emphatically denying she was a bankrupt. I lost everything. I found via Court order she was a bankrupt the whole time. When my GF later died she hid his death & funeral etc in fear she'd be exposed, I found out he died when I went to see him. ?

Best thing to do for a dog who has smelly breath and yellow plaque on their teeth would be to take them to you're local vet for a dental. They are recommended once every 6 months to a year just like humans. Is the kangaroo and veggies diet helping with weight? This could be a contributing factor to the bad breath and tooth decay. Usually a good high fiber and low fat diet are ideal for over weight animals and of course healthy exercise. Brushing their teeth is an awesome idea and it's even better if they allow you to do it. Dental chews are also a good idea. But after all best advice I can give is 1) change of diet 2) Dental cleaning 3) Healthy exercise 4) NO canned food what so ever. (this food is too easily stuck to teeth and gums causing decay) and for continuing dental health hard crunchy food and once a week brushing. Hope this was helpful!

Hi. can anyone tell me how can i qualify for a dependency override on my financial aid?

I moved out from my mom since she got together with her husband. Its not that I just dont like him, but lets just say he's inappropriate towards me. I didnt move out right away though. I told my mom about it and she acted as if nothing happened and marry the guy instead. I didnt have any choice, i left. For that i think I qualify for dependency override, since I consider it to be both mentally and emotionally abusive. When I first moved out I lived with my aunt for a while, but my aunt just like everybody else was only able to help me for a while, since she doesnt have a job and completely relies on her husband financially. After a couple of months, I had to leave because their expenses are going up. My dad ped away when I was one and so not knowing where to go or who to ask for help i decided who to move to another state where I had a job offer from a friend. Not knowing anyone there I decided to start my life again. I went back to school after a semester. I used my savings from working two jobs one full time the other one's part time, when i wasnt going to school yet. But that didnt last long, by second semester I was already struggling because I have to work less hours since Im back to school, while my expenses went up because of books and tuition. This is my second year in college. last year was crazy for me bacause I could barely get by juggling my time between school and work. I dont mind working. But my life would be so much easier if I dont have to work so many hours while going to school just so I could pay rent. I was hoping I could get a little bit of relief this semester. Im considered a dependent still in the eyes of financial aid and so I have to do a dependency override to qualify. My problem is I can only have my relatives, friends and coworkers to confirm this story.. I couldnt think of anyone who could verify my story professionally, which the financial aid office requires, because i didnt really seek for that kind of help.

I'm a fan of the dangerous, y vampire. Only comes out at night, retractable fangs, drinks blood. Garlic - has an allergy, slows him down, but does not kill him. Wow, someone actually did the right thing after they screwed up. I think that in and of itself deserves a round of applause. Seriously, most people would have used your sob story as some type of means to get charges reduced or dropped due to mitigating cirstances. On to my answer. Seeing as I have no expertise in the legal field, I can only guess. It sounds like the charges were originally brought by your gfs mother, and if she refuses to bring charges, then you are off the hook (for the same reason police don't arrest people when the person who was beaten refuses to press charges). If charges were filed by anyone else, you have a little further to go, and if the state or county or municipality brought them, you might be out of luck. However, seeing as you went a few extra miles to put things back as they were prior to the incident, you will probably get a slap on the wrist, just bring your lawyer with you.

Sims 2 Grim Reaper Problem:?

I was killing some of my sims for a bit of fun, and I chose by accident "Make Selectable" on Grim Reaper. Since he disappeared, I chose the Tombstone of L & D, add family member Grim Reaper. That error has occured thing came up and I hit reset a couple of times, but it kept popping up. I hit pause before it came up, and I clicked him to see what would come up. To see what would happen, I chose get pregnent with-Grim Reaper. Now he's gone cause I hit delete on the pop-up, but now I can't the choose Save, Quit or Neighbourhood options. Me and my dad are building our own barns and...?

So I'm 13 and getting my first horse this summer. We have an old barn in our backyard but we've been fixing it up. Hey, so I was playing New Vegas and I wanted to play it through another time. My first play through I basically only used guns (no energy weapons, no explosives, no melee/unarmed). My second play through I used guns also and just sided with different people. My third playthrough I used only melee, unarmed, and explosives/fire weapons. My Mother Had My License Revoked?

My mom had my license revoked by going into the DMV and signing off on it. She legally can do that since she was the one who signed for me to get it. This happened back in January of 2007. I was 16 at the time. I had received my license in September of 2006. So I only had it for about 4 or 5 months. I'm turing 18 on May 24th of this year (2009). I also moved to California from Tennessee since getting my license taken away. I don't want to have to go through the whole driving and permit test AGAIN!! So my question is this, can my mom just go back into the DMV and get my license back since she was the one who had it taken away? Or am I screwed because it's been so long? I am 22 years old, and my boyfriend is living with me. We also live with my parents in their house. Lately, i've been feeling kind of afraid of my boyfriend. His is getting angry over everything, and talks about killing people a lot... now, i know the obvious thing here is "get out of there" or "kick him out." However, he knows where I live, and i'm afraid he might come back if i piss him off. I do love him, i just wish he would stop being so angry all the time. He even mentions killing my step-dad every now and then, and talks about murdering people all the time with the multitude of guns he owns. None of these guns are in this house, but that doesn't mean he can't go get them. I guess i'm just freaked out. I have a dell Inspiron 6000 that automatically boots into diagnostics mode every time it starts. I checked the bios setup and I am missing the option for diagnostic boot in the boot menu so i can't disable it that way. If a person starts a coorporation in which he is the sole shareholder, but his spouse is listed as the registered agent for the service of process only, would he be able to make all the decisions regarding the business. In other words, if he is the sole shareholder and his wife is only the registered agent, would she have any authority if he chooses to sell the business? Is she did not want to be bothered with such affairs and just wanted her husband in charge of running the business would she need to sign some kind of release? A few questions about psp 1.50?

i just did the GTA downgrade from 3.03 to 1.50. i didnt know how to run games or emulators on it, so i upgraded to 2.71 (from medal of honor heroes UMD.) can someone please give me some information on how to run games and emulators on 1.50, or what custon software to upgrade to so i can play newer games and use emulators. i plan on doing the upgrade to 3.03 again, and then doing the downgrade once again once i get more info. any information would be greatly welcomed since i dont know to much about this stuff, but i still new enough not to brick my psp, which is a suprise,lol. thanks to all who can help.

My employer is appealing my unemployment and I need advice asap!?

I'm worried that I will be tricked into saying something on the unemployment appeal call that will make me ineligible! I was fired without warning last month due to miscommunication. I was a salaried manager with work-issued Blackberry and laptop for communication purposes should I ever need to be off premise. I had a general contractor arranged to visit my home for a couple of hours so I took my 1 hour lunch and the contractor ended up taking longer than expected. I couldn't just leave this person in my home. I communicated to all of my employees and office managers as to my whereabouts and expected time back into the office. I was the General Manager and each of my locations had an office manager to run the offices in my absence. During the time I was at my home, I continued to work on my laptop and Blackberry (taking calls from prospects, team members, and even working on business leads/development). I was gone for approx. 4 hours (but 1 hour was my lunch). It was 100% unintentional. My employer is stating I violated PTO policy. I explained the scenario on an HR call yet I wasn't shown any grace. They took 4 hours out of my PTO and fired me. I'm quite nervous about the appeal call. Please, any advice would be helpful. Thank you!

What are my rights as a tenant when renting?

So the situation remains... My husband and I have rented now for a year. Lease will be up in April. However, there have been many health related issues concerning problems with this house that are a top NECESSITY that have been clearly avoided by the landlord to a solution to the continued problems. First off, the sump pump quit, that's not been fixed! its been months! The septic erupted into our back yard and the landlords chose to have someone come out and they instead ran a hose out to our back yard and now all sewage is causing a lake... a bacterial infested lake in our yard! We have serious mold issues now, and had them prior to moving in. My ex husband who is a mold specialist who works for a restoration company found the mold and that's also has been brought to their attention Months ago! Still nothing has been fixed or done about it. The jacuzzi pump isn't working either which is only a minor problem but that was also repeatedly brought to their attention and has still not been fixed. We are paying extra for the jacuzzi as well.. and for what???? Yesterday coming home we find 5 to 6 in of standing water in our carpeted basement filled with our stuff and our stuff is now ruined! The landlord sent someone out and once again nothing was fixed. They did pump out the water and septic but nothing else has been done.... We do NOT have renters insurance as of today's date but we will NEVER hesitate again to carry it... WHAT ARE MY LEGAL RIGHTS FOR MY CHILDREN S SAKE as far as health related concerns and issues????? I'm 22 and my friend Tori is 24 and we work with this guy who is 35 and he's a big Steelers fan. Well we told him that they were going to lose in the Super Bowl and he got all mad and said "Do you want to bet"? We said sure. He said if the Steelers win that me and my friend had to dress up as french maids and clean his place over the weekend. Should I join the Marine Corps?

Hi, I am currently a sopre at UM Amherst and I have been debating whether to join the marines or not. I have thought about this a lot and I am still having difficulty coming remotely close to a decision. Some of my reasons for wanting to join might seem unwarranted considering what the Marine Corps purpose is within the country but I can’t seem to keep these reasons out of my rational. There are the obvious reasons most people give when asked way they joined or are considering joining, i.e. “I want to help people.”, “I want to serve my country.”, “I want to make a difference.”, “I want to better myself.” Etc. Although I do want to do all of those things mentioned, those are not my main motivations. I want to join mainly out of tradition and lifestyle and I am not sure if it is wise to make this decision based off these reasons. I am a very traditional person, it’s just my personality. I am not a very religious person but I go to church just about every Sunday out of tradition mostly (With that said I want to note that I do my best not to allow my traditions to interfere with my morals). In the context of joining the marines, my mother and father were both marines, both of my grandfathers were marines, and a handful of uncles and cousins were/are marines. I have an unexplainable need to carry on this tradition. Also, I feel I would enjoy the social structure of military life. I like uniforms, the idea of marching around, working as a team, everyone being based off performance and experience to move up in rank, the organization, the way everything is “tip top” all the time and the motivation and discipline the military can instill in someone. With that said this would be a much easier decision if the U.S. were not currently in a long, difficult, and controversial war. I feel there are a lot of politics involved in the military (in a bad way) that do not have the interest of the American people or of the American soldier. This is my own personal way of looking at things so if what I’m about to say seems obscure please correct my or tell me your opinion. In theory I feel the politicians should be the moral and ethical decision makers on war (among other things), determining when diplomacy and negotiations have failed and it is time to fight. If war is declared, the soldiers should carry out the wishes of the politicians feeling confident that the politicians have done their moral and ethical duties correctly. Therefore freeing them from determining themselves (individual soldiers) whether this is a just or unjust war and allowing them to focus solely on their mission. I am aware that this theory is severely flawed in that politicians are often corrupted by lobbyist, corporate greed and party lines and that’s where my main problem comes in to play. I don’t want to be used as a pawn for major oil companies or political party pride. What I’m about to say may seem naive but I don’t think I would have a problem going to Iraq of Afghanistan and fighting to help those people and to help protect the U.S. but I can’t seem to find ability to fully trust my government in their decisions to go to war with lobbyist whispering in their ear. Any comments to help me make a better informed decision and get out of this dilemma would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for reading this I know it’s a bit much.
