What tv on dvd should i get my grandpa?

my grandpa, in his mid 80's, just got out of the hospital and I want to get him a TV on DVD of something he would like. I picked up Mr. Ed from Best Buy today but when I got home my boyfriend said that it was a kids show. Should I return it and get something else? what are good shows he might like? the only show i know he really liked was the price is right when bob barker was on it. He was a farmer from a small town in southern IL. Eric thought Hogan's Heros would be good... what do you think?
