Does this type of behaviour sound like a mental illness??

entered a business deal with my mother who didnt tell me she was a recent bankrupt. The deal was for a property development with her husbands ociatte. She wanted to be the silent partner so my brothers did not get 'jealous'. After i agreed and signed and borrowed money she said she wanted me to have 'all the profit' and walked away. I lost lots of money to her husbands ociattee who I found out had thretened her husband with a bankruptcy order. I was convinced that her husband was 'clever' because no one ever got uinto financail trouble when dealing with him. She in fact went bankrupt when dealing with him 6 mths previously. When I susupected the bankruptcy I asked her about it and she went ballistic, saying I was a trouble maker etc then emphatically denying she was a bankrupt. I lost everything. I found via Court order she was a bankrupt the whole time. When my GF later died she hid his death & funeral etc in fear she'd be exposed, I found out he died when I went to see him. ?
