It sounds like the charges were originally brought by your gfs mother, and if she refuses to bring charges, then you are off the hook (for the same reason police don't arrest people when the person who was beaten refuses to press charges). If charges were filed by anyone else, you have a little further to go, and if the state or county or municipality brought them, you might be out of luck. However, seeing as you went a few extra miles to put things back as they were prior to the incident, you will probably get a slap on the wrist, just bring your lawyer with you.
