How much did "Elizabethan music" borrow from English pagan music compared to Italian "renaissance" music"?

I don't understand the question. Paganism hadn't been in England for 500 years by the time of the Elizabethan age. Elizabethan music might have borrowed from English Medieval music, but that's not "pagan."
