Does the registered agent of a corporation have any power over whether or not the business is sold?
If a person starts a coorporation in which he is the sole shareholder, but his spouse is listed as the registered agent for the service of process only, would he be able to make all the decisions regarding the business. In other words, if he is the sole shareholder and his wife is only the registered agent, would she have any authority if he chooses to sell the business? Is she did not want to be bothered with such affairs and just wanted her husband in charge of running the business would she need to sign some kind of release? Or, would just being a registered agent eclude her from decision kaming authority?
