Champix and effects of other narcotics?

so champix is designed to stop effects people get from smoking by blocking the receptors. theoretically, if someone on champix was to take other drugs, such as alcohol, marijuana etc would they feel effects from these drugs? or would the champix influence or diminish the effect?????
