My Mother Had My License Revoked?

My mom had my license revoked by going into the DMV and signing off on it. She legally can do that since she was the one who signed for me to get it. This happened back in January of 2007. I was 16 at the time. I had received my license in September of 2006. So I only had it for about 4 or 5 months. I'm turing 18 on May 24th of this year (2009). I also moved to California from Tennessee since getting my license taken away. I don't want to have to go through the whole driving and permit test AGAIN!! So my question is this, can my mom just go back into the DMV and get my license back since she was the one who had it taken away? Or am I screwed because it's been so long? I was thinking that my mom could get it back and then I could just renew it and switch it over from a Tennessee License to a California License?
