HOW TO TAME A HAMSTER WITH A PAINFUL BITE OF 9.0 IF 10 IS THE PAINEST? HELP! its been 3 months!?
this hamster is extremely hard to tame... i tame it when after school... and there are 3 hamsters in my house... 1 is my bro's one(WINTER WHITE)...(Mochi) and my winter white (mocha) and my extremely fat and painful sapphire winter white hamster...(Pepper) And Mochi is the tamest hamster of all... its also the weakest in terms of fighting... it fought with its sister mocha when we bought it so we separated it... its bite is not painful at all... but at first it was... till we separated it then it miraclously became not painful... the other hamster Mocha... the bite wont make me bleed(IT WONT FOR 1 month ago but i am not sure about now...) but afterwards it became really active at night and i needed to go to school... so i had lesser time to play and tame them... this explains why i did not handle mocha for a month now... but the bite for 1 month ago is still okay... but still sometimes its really really pain... one way to find out how pain is to use your fingernails and pinch your fingers... really hard... and lastly Pepper... the only sapphire hamster... its the funniest and largest... also with the largest teeths... and i think also the most strongest... 1 month ago i handled it and it bite me so hard i bleeded like 3 mls of blood... which is already considered alot for a small bite... so... i bought a mitten... since i could not find any gloves in the area... and i tried taming it... but its always trying to bite on the mitten... and i did not feel its really helping... because its not really making it get used to a hand right? Okay for you guys... if this is the situation you face... what will you do? for me... i will use the mitten to try "TAMING" it and give it treats (Apple) every 1 week... but i dont think mittens do help... and i would love it if its really on my hand... because it was never polite to me... And as for Mocha... i rate the painness of 7.5 out of 10 if 10 is the painest... i would try "taming" it a little when i change the bedding later or tomorrow since now its already late at night... the bite could make my hand bleed though... i am not sure... all my hamsters dont seem to chew much recently... and especially Pepper... I had NEVER seen her chew on sticks and she especially likes chewing on her plastic house or cardboard house... so what would you do if you are faced with this situation? and whats the worst health problem that will happen if i get bitten by it? Oh and 6 weeks ago when i was changing the bedding i left it in a hamster ball... then i let it go into the 2ft tank... but this time... i let it go onto my hand with a sweet apple treatz... haha and first it ate the apple but it did not really eat it it stuff it into her cheek pouches then sniff my hand for awhile and THEN! it bit me once... (it was pain but still can torelate) then twice (it bit me this time on my thumb which is painful!) then the last time it bit me on the tip of my thumb where there was the lessest meat or flesh... (SO I FELT SO PAIN I LET GO OF IT) then after awhile it started bleeding like 2mls for a small bite so imagine yourself seeing that much of blood coming out of such small bites... and when i left it under running water it was painful and then the blood went away but soon after it came out then i washed it again then it came out again UNTIL i put antiseptic cream over it to cover it and put a small plaster over it... so please answer me truthfully and not scold me ust because i did not handle it for a month because today is my only free time where i dont have other ignments to do as last saturday i had to do a Logbook(Project) so sorry for making a long question but please answer it... And thx... i will choose a best answer so do your best in this... thx!
