Is it worth going to an Ivy League school for Pre-Med?

I have all the stats to get into an ivy/top school, but the question now is whether it's worth it over going to UF (honors college) where I will get credit for my multitude of APs to finish in about 2 1/2 years and where I will get the 100% Bright Futures scholarship covering tuition. I am sure I want to go into medicine. I know UF has a great pre-medical advising department. It seems like the people that I know who attend/want to attend ivys are going for govt/politics or engineering or humanities, that sort of thing. My parents would like me to attend an ivy mainly for bragging rights, lol. IDK if the ivys give your more opportunity for research and that sort of thing too. From UF I'm pretty sure I can get into UF's medical school which a lot of people from the ivys apply to also... So is it worth it?
