Is Eoin colfer releasing any new books in the artemis fowl series?

He's said in video blogs that the 6th one wasn't necessarily the last one in the series, but there wouldn't be another one for at least a couple of years. I saw that a few months ago, and as far as I know there haven't been any updates.
